We register domains on your behalf through accredited registrar partners, and you remain the listed owner. Practically, it means you buy and manage the domain in your FatherShops admin instead of juggling a separate registrar account.
Connection is automatic. Buy it elsewhere and you’re editing DNS records and waiting for propagation, which is where most first-time founders lose a day. Buy it here and the store is answering on it straight away, with SSL already issued.
It depends on the extension. A .com starts around SAR 55 for the first year, a .store around SAR 29, country extensions like .sa and .ae sit higher. Exact pricing shows before you pay, and we display the renewal price next to it — the two are often very different.

No. Hosting, bandwidth, CDN and SSL are included in every FatherShops plan. The domain is the only thing you pay for on top, and there’s no separate fee to connect it.
Hundreds, including .com, .net, .store, .shop, .online, .co, .io and country extensions such as .sa, .ae and .co.uk. Some country extensions have local eligibility rules set by their registry — those are flagged before you pay, not after.
WHOIS privacy is switched on by default wherever the registry allows it, so your name, address and phone number don’t appear in public lookups. A few country extensions require public contact details by law — we tell you which before you buy.
Both. Connecting keeps it at your current registrar and points it here — fastest option, usually live within the hour. Transferring moves the registration itself to us so everything renews in one place; that takes five to seven days and the domain must be older than 60 days, which is a registry rule rather than ours.
Domains renew yearly and auto-renew is on by default, because an expired domain takes your store offline. We email you before the charge. Turn auto-renew off any time — just diary the date yourself if you do.
Yes. You’re the registrant, not us. If you ever leave FatherShops you can transfer the domain out to any registrar after the standard 60-day lock, and we won’t hold the authorisation code hostage.
A section in front of your main name — shop.yourbrand.com or ar.yourbrand.com. They’re free and unlimited, and useful for separating a blog, a wholesale catalogue or an Arabic version of the site. Every new FatherShops store starts on one.
